2022 Ford Explorer

The 2022 Ford Explorer has eight trim levels: Explorer, Explorer XLT, Explorer ST-Line, Explorer Timberline, Explorer Limited, Explorer ST, Explorer King Ranch, and Explorer Platinum. There are some unique features in each trim. The Explorer model offers a power moonroof, keyless start/stop, and an anti-theft engine immobilizer system. Features available to the ST-Line model include heated and ventilated seats, an upgraded sound system, and unique wheels. The Explorer Limited has features such as a heated steering wheel, cooled front seats, and adaptive cruise control.

The King Ranch model has features such as heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, an upgraded sound system, and adaptive cruise control. The Platinum Explorer is loaded with features such as adaptive cruise control, automatic high beam headlamps, cooled and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, and a Shaker audio system.

The Explorer has three engine options: a 2.3L EcoBoost I-4 engine, 3.0L EcoBoost V6 engine, or a V6 hybrid. All engines come standard with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The four-cylinder Ecoboost engine produces 200 hp and 310 pound-feet of torque. The upgraded V6 engine puts out 400 hp and 415 pound-feet of torque. If you choose the V6 hybrid option, you'll get 318 hp and 322 pound-feet of torque.
