trim Levels
The 2023 Ford F-150 comes in eight trim levels, including the XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Limited, Rattler, and Tremor. Like a work truck, the XL and XLT have a respectable appearance; the Lariat adds a few extra luxuries to it, while the off-road capable Tremor sports a tougher exterior.
The King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited versions focus on luxury. However, the Rattler features all-terrain tires on 18-inch dark-painted aluminum wheels, box-side emblems, fender venting labels, and black twin exhaust outlets for off-road agility.
Engine
The 2023 Ford F-150's major strength is its vast range of engines. The 3.3-liter V-6 base engine offers wonderful service because of its cost and performance. For steady horsepower, you can opt for a traditional 5-liter V-8. It also features two turbocharged EcoBoost engines. A 2.7-liter V-6 is the more economical, although a larger 3.5-liter V-6 focuses on results, notably in the Raptor.
The most efficient engine, a PowerBoost turbocharged V-6, powers the hybrid 2023 F-150 while a 5.2-liter V-8 supercharged with 700 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque propels the latest Raptor R. Most F-150 models come standard with the rear-wheel drive, while four-wheel driving is optional. However, the Limited, Raptor, and Tremor grades all come equipped with four-wheel drive.
Performance
The 2023 F-150 transmissions are by a 10-speed torque conversion auto gearbox, completing the 0-60 mph sprint in less than 5.4 seconds. It has an average gas mileage of 25 mpg, which translates to 25 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. Its vast 26-gallon gas tank provides a cumulative distance of 650 miles.
The standard 3.3-liter normally aspirated V-6 engine gets only 21 mpg combined and offers an overall endurance of 483 miles. The 2023 F-150 steering is direct and fast, making it feel smaller, with easy maneuverability in parking, and more steady on the freeway. While the hybrid powertrain is recovering power, the braking remains strong and provides confidence in stopping strength.
Interior
The 2023 F-150 interior design is simple, pragmatic, high-tech, cozy, and realistic. Even with gloves on, you can operate most of its large knobs and switches. The head and legroom in the front and back seats are outstanding. Its firm seats and leather interior, along with all the seat conveniences, including warming, ventilation, and power support, make your ride comfortable.
Regardless of your body size and shape, you can find a comfortable position thanks to a wide variety of seat, steering, and pedal adjustments. The optional surround-view camera system offers complete visibility besides its spacious 52.8 cubic-feet cargo area.
