If you’re anything like us, then you love a good cup of joe. While brewing your own cup at home can be a satisfying morning ritual and a way to save a few bucks, sometimes it’s nice to have someone else prepare your java for you. If you’re looking for good coffee (and maybe a croissant or a plate of pancakes!) in and around Cokato, MN, look no further than our favorite coffee shops.

1. The Grounds on the Green

As you may have guessed from the name, The Grounds on the Green is located at the Cokato Town & Country Club. If you love golf AND coffee, you have to check out this cafe. They have all the standard coffee offerings, plus some of their own inventions. Try the Albatross; it’s a delicious mixture of espresso, white chocolate, and a splash of cream over ice that’s the perfect balance of decadent and refreshing.

2. Forget Me Not Cafe

Head out to Buffalo, MN to check out this brand new cafe opened by a young family with a special affinity for cafes. This husband-and-wife team first made eyes at each other at a small cafe in their former hometown, then decided to bring that same charm to their new home in Buffalo. This cute coffee shop is part cafe, part old-school diner. They boast a robust breakfast menu, so you’ll come for the coffee, but stay for the blueberry pancakes!

3. Crazi Coffee

The journey to Winsted, MN to visit Crazi Coffee is well worth the drive. You’ll be in awe of their diverse beverage menu. From fresh juices to smoothies, boba, and beyond, this cafe brings a bit of big city magic to the small town of Winsted. We love the iced “Butterbut” – a devilishly delicious concoction blending the flavor of dark chocolate, espresso, and toffee nut syrup into one. Just when you think this cafe can’t get any crazier, they also offer custom flower bouquets!

4. Red Bench Bakery

What’s coffee without a croissant? Red Bench Bakery has perfected this classic French pairing, offering plain croissants, almond croissants, pain au chocolat (chocolate croissants), and a savory ham and cheese croissant. Croissants aren’t your cup of tea? No sweat. This bakery offers plenty of other delectable accouterments to enjoy with your java. They have two locations (one in Chaska, and one in Excelsior) and we can assure you that they’re both worth a visit.

Whether you’re looking for a late-night latte or an early morning Americano, our favorite places to stop for coffee are sure to fill up your cup and satisfy your thirst for a delicious brew! Need a reliable vehicle for your out-of-town adventures? Whether you’re looking to purchase your first vehicle or you want to drive to your next coffee date in the car of your dreams, we can help. Visit Holt Motors Ford of Cokato and let us know how we can serve you today.
