It’s noon, and you’re hungry. Load the crew into your Ford Bronco Sport and race over to one of the best lunch restaurants in town. These are the places we go when we’re hungry, and we hope you’ll like them as much as we do.

Iron Horse Grill and Saloon

Iron Horse Grill is a great spot to hang with friends, and you’ll find them at 230 Millard Ave SW. They’re open from 11AM every day but Monday. The food here is delicious and gets served up quickly, so you can definitely squeeze in a visit here and actually sit down and enjoy your lunch. They have great drinks, too, but if you have one, please remember to drink responsibly and never drink and drive.

Their pizza is awesome. Each one is handmade, 12 inches, and comes topped with their three-cheese blend. We’re fond of the meat lovers. They also do amazing burgers here. The Fat Boy Gouda has smoked gouda, pimento cheese, and bacon. The Shovelhead is their homemade “hangover cure” and comes with an over-easy egg, bacon, and cheddar cheese. If you want something lighter, their avocado chicken wrap is also amazing.

The Mexican Grill

At 450 Cokato St. W, the Mexican Grill is a food truck that you’ll want to reach early. If you’re too late, you’ll end up standing in line a long time! The prices aren’t bad, and the food is amazing. There are some nice places to sit, too, on fine days.

They are closed on Sunday and Monday and open up at 11AM every other day. They’ve got great burrito bowls, street tacos, quesadillas, and burritos. You can get any of these with steak, pork, or chicken. Their tacos are 6-inch corn with cilantro, onion, and salsa, and the quesadilla and burrito come with flour tortillas.

The Grounds on the Green

At 15256 US-12, in the Cokato Town & Country Club, you’ll find this great spot. It’s perfect for getting delicious, quality food in a relaxed atmosphere. This place opens up by 7AM and offers great coffee drinks, smoothies, and breakfast food, but it’s also a lovely stop for a quick lunch.

Some of their great lunch food includes their chicken bacon ranch sandwich on a hoagie, their delicious BLT, and a chicken salad that will remind you of your grandma’s summer picnic food. If you’re looking for something hot, try their Italian Melt, which comes with salami, pepperoni, mixed vegetables, mozzarella, and tomato, and is drizzled with seasoned olive oil and served open face.

After lunch, swing by Holt Motors to find a new ride that’s perfect for a lunch trip or any trip.
