This campground is located in Cokato. It’s a great spot for those who want to get away from it all and enjoy some peace and quiet. There is also a large camp store that sells supplies if you forget something at home. This campground offers seasonal sites as well as year-round sites for those looking for long-term stays.

The Piepenburg Campground is open year-round, so there is no need to worry about weather conditions when planning your trip. If you want to explore more than just the campsite itself, there are many nearby activities such as fishing on Lake Pepin or shopping at Stearns County Historical Museum & Village, which is located nearby in Melrose Township.

Lakewood Farm And Campground

This campground is located near the town of Monticello, about 45 minutes from Cokato. The campground has 52 sites, with most having electricity and water hookups available. There are also two cabins available for rent, both of which have electricity and bathrooms but no water hookups.

There’s plenty to do at Lakewood Farm, including fishing in the lake, swimming in the pool, or just hanging out at the beach area by the lake. There are also plenty of hiking trails around the property that lead through woods full of wildlife, such as deer, squirrels, and foxes!

Lakedale Campground

Just a few miles from Cokato, the Lakedale Campground is a great option for an affordable weekend getaway. The drive to Lakedale is only about 15 minutes, and you’ll be just minutes away from some of the best fishing and boating in Minnesota. The campground has over 300 campsites with electricity, water, and sewer hookups available, as well as cabins and yurts for rent.

There are also multiple playgrounds, swimming pools, and a few hiking trails onsite. If you’re planning on bringing your dog along for your trip, there are several pet-friendly sites available as well. The Lakedale Campground offers many activities throughout the year, including live music events, family reunions, and even hayrides!
